The sun shone brightly, seeming to give a brilliant sheen to each and every thing it touched. Though the morning was young, the heat it gave off was strong. The last bit of dew had evaporated from the blades of grass. In nearby trees birds could be heard, joyfully chirping away in the morning's light. The sunbeams danced on the surface of the river and all in all it was a peaceful morning for most.
But this did not apply for the massive white feline trotting through the grass, each angry swipe of his tail rustling through it. Amber eyes slitted in anger as he gracefully moved along, his usually heavy paw-steps soundless in the weeds. His anger had no direct cause nor focus. Alcatraz didn't know the exact reason for his annoyed state. Perhaps," he thought, "'tis the hunger raging in my stomach, or the many sleepless nights." his mind ventured on to name all possible causes for his acrimony. He finally concluded that it wasn't the product of one simple thing, but rather the combination of all things.
A rustle could be heard somewhere beside him. What was it? Alcatraz sat a moment where he was. Swiveling his ears he listened toward the direction of the sound. Maybe it was something to eat. A pink tongue shot out of his mouth and began to lick his chops at the thought. ..

Before even giving him a chance to crouch down,Sith jumped out of a tree and snatched a small mouse.Giving a small giggle she dropped the mouse and smiled pleasently. Her scar was not bleeding,it seemed to be gone.It was her all right though."Hungry?"she said in a happy way.

'Twas the feline Alcatraz recognized as Sith from the previous night. Was it last night he'd met her? His memory was clouded by unrest and hunger. No matter, he remembered who she was. There was no need to plague his mind with trivial things like times and dates. In the end, they didn't matter.
Her jovial approach was one that bothered him, though on normal occasions it might not have. "No," he spat with angry sarcasm, "An empty stomach for days does not make you hungry in the least" His empty stomach beckoned to him for food, for the fresh flesh of a rodent. The thought of such a thing made it rumble in hunger.
He knew there was some danger to being in these lands. The territory was not Alcatraz's own and any of the clans of cats could come just as easily as he had. He was in no fit shape for a major confrontation, and for all he knew the Southern scum lurked somewhere around. A grimace overtook his countenance. Just the thought of them made him uneasy.

She tossed the mouse to him a tapped her paw in the water and caught a fish.Putting it down infront of him she climbed the tree she was previously on and said,"Im going back to the north. If you want me to come back and hunt for you again I would be happy to."Her tone sounded sarcastic and solemn at the same time.

Amber eyes watched from behind as tom and she-cat conversed briefly. The tom appeared in a sour mood, and it was obvious the she-cat was doing nothing to help it. The black cat could see why, as she caught the final words of the she-cat. The tom appeared able to hunt for himself, could she not see that? The black head shook disapprovingly. Some people just didn't know their place.
The black feline finally made her presence known. She stepped forward and nodded to the tom. She tried to be civil, but she could not keep the frostiness out of her voice. "Morning..." She said. She looked him over quickly and noticed that he fit the North Territory's description well. However, she did not say this.
Rogue's amber eyes searched for the she-cat, unsure if she had left. She had a feeling shec was watching them from somewhere, or that she was in an obvious place but Rogue could not see. She realised that the male and the female could be mates. Not that she really cared, she didn't think that the male was good enough for her. In fact, she didn't think that any male was good enough for her...

Sith jumped from the tree and watched the black cat feeling quite uneasy. Shifting about she said" Hi... Want something?" She did not say this in an unfriendly way,but as polietly as she could being very hesistant at the moment. She did not like the black cat. "I see you are a loner." she said more easily this time. She stared at Alcatraz eat.

Rogue looked at the she-cat, raising pretend eyebrows. Her whiskers twitched in amusement. "I'm sure that means alot coming from you," She replied coldly. "Because I'm sure your really important." Her voice dripped with sarcasm. She turned her back on the fluffy white cat. She felt no desire to continue arguing with her. She was not in the mood for trading insults with prissy kitties who think being a loner is a bad thing. Shows what she knows... Rogue thought to herself. She realised she had lost her interest in these cats. But she wanted to at least give the male a chance to say something. She looked at him, now also in a sour mood. This guy better be the one I'm looking for... Rogue thought angrily.

"I never said loners were bad! I was a loner myself once!" Sith said trying not to upset the black cat. She wrapped her tail against her haunches. She moved a bit closer to the black cat and studied her with her ocean blue eyes. She stood up. "I must go now. perhaps I will see you in the northern territories some time." And with that, she walked into the northern lands.

Alcatraz watched as the she-cats engaged in a petty argument. He was in no mood for such a thing. "Shut the hell up!" he snarled at the two felines. Relief swept over him at the sight of one of them departing. Amber eyes looked in disapproval to the rodent that had been dropped near him That was supposed to be my dinner..." he thought annoyed. He wouldn't let his lips touch a morsel of food that another had captured for him. He was perfectly capable of hunting; an y that doubted that would receive several blows to the head from his massive paws.
"That will knock some sense into 'em..."the massive tom thought in regards to those who doubted his skills as a hunter. A grin almost crept onto his face; had this been any other time it probably would've.
Alcatraz was now faced with a new cat. His tail flicked in agitation as amber eyes scanned her body. She didn't reek of the heavy smell of the cats of the Southern Territory. But he couldn't be sure of who she was. Jaws clamped shut he didn't say a word. He'd wait for her to start the conversation. Alcatraz was in no mood to idly chat..

She did not react when he shouted. She had already decided not to speak to the other female. Tired of waiting, she finally growled, "My name is Rogue, and I am looking for the King of the Northern Territory. If you are not him, kindly tell me where I can find him." Curse these cats! If these are northern kingdom cats, I don't know what I'll do! Her temper was rising every second, but her expression was calm. The only that she was angry was her voice. She watched her claws as they spread wide, giving her the impression she would like nothing more than to kill something. The only time her temper ever got this bad was when other females told her what to do. Rogue knew by instinct that males were always more important when it came to groups, packs or kingdoms. But females? She didn't have to listen to them... yet. She realised that her mouth was opened and she was hissing. She closed it, not wanting any more hostility at the moment. She needed to know where the King of the North was. And if this was him, she might be in a bit of hot water. Rogue shuddered and bit herself, her usual punishment for thinking about water. She was aware that the tom was still watching her.

Ears perked up at the sound of his title. Slowly the feline rose to his feet and padded over to the she-cat. Slowly he circled around her, his heavy footsteps audible beneath the sunlight. "I am he," he stated sternly. Then he leaned closer to her ear. "Watch your tone," he demanded regarding her growling, "I am in no spirit to deal with such disrespect." He realized he might have come on a bit harshly, but he didn't dislike the cat. He didn't even know her. Alcatraz acted as he always did. It wasn't like him to associate with other felines all the time so he naturally wasn't the kindest when it came to them. He paused a moment, sitting down. He wrapped his tail around his forelegs as a sign of comfort. He didn't fear this she-cat--nor any she-cat for that matter--and he wanted to make sure that was wholly understood.

Immediatley Rogue's attitude change. Now that she knew who he was, she acted differently. At least one thing went right today, Rogue thought. I found him. Rogue straightened up and looked Alcatraz in the eye. "I meant you no disrepect." She said slowly, as though she was thinking hard about her words. She said nothing for the moment, but stood staring at something no one else could see. She flicked her ear to shoo a bug and then looked back at Alcatraz. "The reason I was looking for you, was to ask for acceptance in the Northern Territories. I believe I have what it takes..." She trailed off, but she lookeed like she would have liked to have said more, possibly something extremley disrespectful, but she held her tongue and kept it to herself. She twitched her ear again, but not because a bug was bothering her, but because she heard something behind her. She turned her head, but there was nothing there. She flicked her ear in annoyance and turned back.

The white tom trotted towards the other. "Hello, my name is Crinja." he said, sensing Sith had been here. "I over heard you where the king of the north. I ask you, can I be in the northern group?" He said this in a slight ting in his voice. While sniffing the air he waited. It looked as if his lips where frozen solid without a hint of happiness.
OOC:Sorry it's so short, I had nothing to write about really.

Yet another cat arrived at the scene. 'Twas odd that so many felines would gather in one area. Alcatraz stayed in the same place he was. There was no reason for him to move to accommodate the new tom into his vision. "There is no reason for you need to ask permission to become apart of the territory," he said addressing both cats. "Join if you'd like. 'Tis I who decide who leaves" The tom said the last word ominously as if some mystery surrounded it. How exactly they would leave he neglected to state. For none entered the Northern Territory alive and left the same way. A lunatic grin crept onto his face for a split moment, but he quickly wiped it off wanting to leave the two felines to ponder exactly what he meant.

Crinja got a weird feeling he had once before in his life. It was strange feeling where he would feel as if beloved Sith was not feeling quite happy. He only wished for her to be safe and not to go mad as he did. He let out a sigh and he then said in a quiet tone to himself "If she goes mad, then she will never again understand why she was given life. Her kits will be mad..." At this he paused and began to stand, slowly, but surely. He next said aloud "I must go. Sith is not well." He left directly towards the northern territories, and faded into some trees.
