Rain walked around in circles, completely lost. Dragon and Rain had gotten separated on a tour of the land, but unfortunately they hadn't covered this area. She continued on helplessly. The clouds overhead rumbled and soon the sight of lightning and the sound of thunder brought the rain. The rain poured, in moments drenching Rain to the skin. As if being lost wasn't enough, now she was lost in the worst storm of the season. Sadly Rain continued on, her fur being too heavy to move very quickly.
Rain then thought of the dens. She could look for the dens! Rain walked straight for maybe half a mile before the saw what looked like holes in the distance. Rain went as quickly as she could toward them, only to find they were piles of sticks in the darkness. Rain then looked around in panic. A tear ran down her face, although you couldn't tell by the rain dripping down as well. She quickly moved under a tree and sat innocently below it.
Rain sat helplessly under the tree. Panic brought fear and uncontrolled thoughts along just to make matters worse. All Rain could think about doing was to meow. Though, what are the odds of hearing a cat's cry over the beating of thousands of rain drops. It was worth a try. Rain meowed as lowed as she could into the mists of the night. She wasn't sure how far her cry would carry, but perhaps Dragon would be somewhere nearby.
Rain's thoughts suddenly wandered to Dragon. Was he worried about her? After all, he hadn't shown up where he had. Did he suspect Rain ran off? Did he think she got lost? Is he worried about Rain's safety? All these questions seemed to be left unanswered in Rain's mind. She layed down on the moist ground and waited. She was silent, only the sound of rain could be heard with the occasional thunder clasp. She felt so alone and defenseless. Rain was actually scared out of her wits. Would she be found? It seemed hopeless, but somewhere there was hope...

Dragon came running at the helpless meow. He thought that maybe someone was in trouble. He skidded to a halt in front of Rain, rain drenching him. He had been having a nice sleep.. But it must be important, if she was that distressed. "Whats wrong?" He asked, not really wanting to know. It had to be bad. He looked at the pile of sticks she was looking at, wondering if it had something to do with it.
Dragon hesitantly walked up and pressed his body against hers, hoping to comfort her. She was soaked, but that did not mean the she had been here long. He had been, just afew seconds ago, completley dry. Once again he looked around, trying to find out what was wrong. But he couldn't see anything wrong. The forest was empty, it seemed. He guessed that Shady had gone to the dens while he was sleeping. He wouldn't have seen her when he rushed towards Rain, because of her black coat. And Ardra would probably still be in the den, waiting out the storm. So why wasn't Rain down there?
Dragon's ears flattened and the fur on his back bristled as the thunder boomed above them. The scene was alluminated by lightning, Dragon's face looking concerned, as he did not know why Rain was so distressed. He put his head against her's for a second then pulled it back so he could shake himself, in a pitiful attempt to warm himself at least alittle.

Rain meowed a few more times before giving up and sitting silently in the rain. Her hopes were lost up until when Dragon came into view as lightning lighted the night sky. Rain jumped excitedly and waited for Dragon to reach her. She didn't want to leave the 'protection' of the tree, if any. When he reached Rain, she rubbed her dial gently across his chest. Her long, thick hair was soaked. Rain's stomach all the sudden jumped in excitement. She looked up to see Dragon looking concerned. Rain shivered and began speaking. "Dragon, I...I got lost...on the way to the t-tour. I-I...I panicked! I-I...." Rain buried her dial in Dragon's chest, still scared to death by the storm.

The she-cat was immediately awake as she sensed cats stirring outside. She quietly crept out of the den. She was invisible in the night because of her pelt color, and the storm helped cloaked her. Ardra decided to use this as an advantage. She only opened her eyes to get out of the den, and then closed them imediately, sitting down to listen to what they were talking about.
Ardra hated the menatlity of other females, and she almost gave a hiss, but controlled herself, as the maiden dipped her head into Dragon's chest. This must be that femme I sniffed earlier, she thought, remembering when she first entered the territory to seek acceptance into the lands. Her fur bristled as she watched the femme, insanely jealous and infuriated. She didn't mind, though, because in this black, rainy night, Ardra was as visible as the air around them.

Dragon felt sorry for her. "I'm sorry, I should have gone looking for you when you didn't show up. Come on, lets get out of the rain." He licked the top of her head gently. Rain seemed terrified. He began to slowly move towards the den, trying to stay as close to her as possible at the same time. He moved towards the den. the rain poured down hard and it was hard to see. He struggled against a sudden gust of wind, and he curved his body he went closer to Rain. This storm was really bringing them together.

Rain jumped up and walked glued to Dragon's side. She wasn't getting lost this time, ohh no. Her heart raced as she began thinking of how she got lost. She closed her eyes tightly to erase the memory, and when she opened them, she seemed free of it. Suddenly one of the many dens came into veiw. Rain ran ahead and ran straight into the den without a faltered step. She layed shivering on the ground. Her lilac silver coat clumped together since the rain was no longer hitting it. Rain waited for Dragon, for she was frozen stiff from fright.

Dragon ran after her. When he got into the den, he lay down beside her, his white fur dripping. He was glad that that was over. He looked around to see if Ardra and Shady were here. Suddenley froze. Shady didn't know the way... He hoped that she would find it anyway. Perhaps she had caught Dragon and Ardra's scent and followed it here. He hoped that was the case, as he didn't fancy going out in the rain again. He looked at the wet cat beside him. "You alright?" He asked.

Rain placed her dial upon Dragon's paws as he layed down. She shivered every so often. She closed her eyes and tried to think warmth. As Dragon spoke she pricked her auds to listen to his words. "Yes, I'm alright...." she said in a whisper. She could hear her heart race as lightning lit the sky outside. This was going to be a bad storm.

After Ardra was sure that they were in the dens, she opened her eyes, and they gleamed like lanterns in the dark, rainy night. Altough they were still intense and shining, they were heavy with sadness, and a sigh was emitted from the feline's mouth as she turned from the dens. She didn't want to go in to the dens and meet this female, but she didn't really feel like sulking about something that didn't even happen yet.
So the femme dashed off into the cold, stormy night, being pelted with cold rainwater, and went to find a place to think and try to forget her troubles. She didn't care where...she just wanted to forget all about this femme and how Dragon seemed to feel for her.

Dragon did not mind pain putting her head on his paws. However, he moved them when he thought he heard something outside. He got up and walked over to the entrance to the den, but saw nothing. He shrugged and layed down again, closing his eyes, but not sleeping. He was slightly troubled. He knew that he had feelings for Rain, and he thought he might have feelings for Ardra too. But he could not be mates with both of them. He had a feeling that they both had feelings for him too. Maybe he was just being big-headed, saying that they did because he wanted them to.

Rain opened her blue eyes when Dragon had removed his paws from beneath her dial. She watched him at the entrance and smiled slightly. As he turned around, Rain shut her eyes gently and placed her dial beside his paws rather than on them. Suddenly the strangest thought came to her mind. Was she falling for Dragon? She hadn't noticed it before, but she felt complete around him. She smiled at her strange thoughts.

Dragon opened his eyes. The first thing he noticed was the sun looking down at the world, finally having broken through the clouds. He looked at Rain. She seemed to be asleep. He got up quietly and walked out of the dens. He yawned and stretched. He sniffed the air, but all scents were masked by the powerful smell of damp earth. His stomach growled he was hungry. He looked back at the den, wondering if she would be worried if he left. What if she got lost again? He decided he would wait for her. He sat down, wondering where everyone else was.

OOC: sry it took so long, I got locked outside...
IC~
Th' cool feeling of Dragon being gone awoke Rain. Silently sh' sat up and looked to the entrance. Sh' saw th' daylight sky and smiled. Slowly th' femmora stepped outside and looked 'round for Dragon. Her gaze rested upon a male figure, Dragon. Sh' walked silently toward 'im, nuzzling 'im gently with 'er dial as sh' reached 'im. Sh' knew now that love came whether you want it or not. Sometimes it takes a while before you actually know you love them, and that's what happened to Rain. Sh' sat on th' damp ground. Gaze shifted to Dragon, a smile 'pon 'er maw.
