"Thats not a very clear answer, so I'll catch something for you. I already have something for myself." Dragon shot off into the bushes before she could reply.
Dragon stopped running and opened his mouth. Soon he caught the scent of a rabbit. He lowered himself into a hunter's crouch, and moved silently through the bushes. He found the rabbit quickly, and pounced on it. It was large and hard to miss, so he landed right on target and killed it quickly. He picked it up by its scruff, and feeling quite proud of himself he trotted back to the lake.
Dragon trotted over to Rain and dropped the rabbit at her paws. "I'll just go get mine..." He muttered, dashing off again. He soon came back with the mouse he had caught earlier in his mouth. "Bit dirty. He said, and winked at her. he sunk his teeth into the mouse, chewing tentively. He swallowed, but then spat out alot of dirt. He ran to the lake and took a drink. "Not sure if this will work really." He said, smiling broadly.

Rain laughed as Dragon dashed off out of sight. She waited patiently, now sitting on the ground smiling. He came back quickly. Rain had to decide whether he just hunted it or not. She soon gave up on her question as Dragon dashed off again so quickly that Rain didn't have a chance to say thanks. She waited, not bothering to eat until she said her thanks. Dragon came back moments later, carrying what looked like a previously burried mouse. Rain tilted her dial in confussion, but then took a breathe before speaking. "Thank you, I really appreciate this." With this finally said, Rain lowered herself to the ground. She layed a paw on her meal and ripped with her teeth. A long wanted meal, finally here.

Dragon smiled back, still wondering what to do with his mouse. He picked it up and brought it a little distance away and dropped it. Then he picked it up again and shook rapidly, sending dirt everywhere. He dropped the mouse, hoping he hadn't hit Rain with the dirt. He took a tentative bite of the mouse. "Ah, much better." He smiled at rain and quickly ate the mouse. He sat up and waited for Rain to finish, humming quietly and staring out over the lake. Most cats did not know music, but Dragon's mother had taught him this song long ago. It was about what it took to be a great warrior and a hero. He remembered listening so intently, and asking his mother if she thought he would be a great warrior and a hero. She had replied, "Only time will tell." But right before she had died, after Dragon had brought her Away from the Northern Territory, she had told him, "You will be a great warrior and a hero, Dragon. And I will always be proud of you if you do what your heart tells you to, not what others tell you to." Dragon smiled a sad smile, far away in his own little world.

Rain smiled then continued eating her meal. When she finished, she looked up to Dragon and forced a weak smile, feeling he had a sad memory playing through his mind. She wanted to speak, but also didn't want to. She felt the silence was needed, somehow. She nodded, saying she was done with her meal. Silently she sat, waiting for anything Dragon said.

Dragon turned to her, but his eyes were still on the lake for a few moments. Finally he looked at Rain. "Well, its getting dark. We'd better start our tour now!" Dragon dashed off, looking back occasionally to make sure she was following. He stopped abruptly and opened his mouth. He smelled someone else, and he wanted to go see who. "Come on!" He shouted playfully, and again dashed off.
OOC: Short and bad post. Been without electricity for too long, methinks.

Rain nodded and smiled. She stood up and waked closer to Dragon, waiting for him to lead her on the 'tour'. She was glad she now had a home to look forward to. Perhaps one day she can lead a good life. She hoped for that day, wished for it every day. There was a glow in Rain's eye, something that hadn't shown before. She had always had it, but hidden.
OOC: same, short and bad...lol
